Points North Energy prepares for SolarFest 2010

By Travis Williams

SolarFest started sixteen years ago in order to educated the public on the reliability and efficiency of solar technology for homes and businesses. It has now become a three day event housing musicians, artists, educators and green energy experts who come together for a common goal: support the research and implementation of renewable energy while educating the public on the need to create a clean future for generations to come.

The event is in Tinmouth Vermont during the 16th, 17th and 18th and is expected to attract nearly 8,000 visitors. Not only will there be locals who have come from around Vermont and New England but due to the festivals notoriety over the past years, renewable energy enthusiasts will be present from all over America.

Points North Energy will be present at the event, helping to educate both new and older generations on renewable energy such as solar, wind or geothermal. We look forward to being in a diverse environment, mixing the educational process with live workshops and presentations while joining other businesses who value and understand the importance of renewable energy.
